Finished up a job recently photographing the Hutton Hotel in Nashville. Really great place. Really nice people.
One thing to keep in mind when starting any new job is to set aside time before you start any shoot to go over the logistics of the shoot with the client while on site. You can plan, and plan, and plan, all you want before hand but all that can change once you are physically standing in the space. Often times the client doesn't understand the process of photography. The photographer only having seen the space through images sent via email or not at all will have a hard time making exact decisions with out seeing the layout of the space. We started this job with one game plan and ended up implementing another developed on site shortly after we arrived. With careful planning though everything works out good for all parties involved.
